Before joining VSM, Michael worked as an IT System Consultant supporting mission-critical airline and terminal systems at Calgary International Airport. In that role, he was part of a 24/7 operations team responsible for ensuring uninterrupted service across complex, high-availability environments. Acting as a single point of contact for technical issues, Michael coordinated with multiple resolver groups, troubleshot hardware, software, and network incidents, and ensured strict adherence to service level agreements. His experience in high-pressure, real-time operational settings has shaped his methodical and proactive approach to IT support.

Michael’s work is grounded in strong technical fundamentals and a passion for continuous improvement. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Calgary and has a background in Artificial Intelligence, systems design, and data-driven problem solving. Known for his ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical guidance, Michael focuses on empowering clients to understand their systems and make confident decisions that support long-term stability and growth.
